1204 Town House with Patio for Renovation, Albayzin

Granada, Granada, Granada City
€ 240.000

A bright, three bedroom town house with great potential as a family home. It has lovely views of the Ziri wall from many of the rooms as well as several outside spaces: a roof terrace, a ground floor patio leading out from the kitchen and narrow terraces that run the length of the house on both floors.

The main door leads into the house on the second floor. To the left is a bedroom and the stairs down to the ground floor. Down the passageway to the right is the family bathroom with shower/bath and a single bedroom with double doors out to the narrow terrace that runs along the length of the house, with great views of the Ziri wall. Continuing down the passageway to the right is a double bedroom which leads to a sunny living room and access to the roof terrace on the third floor. The terrace enjoys great views of the Ziri wall, the Albayzin neighbourood and the city of Granada.

Taking the stairs down to the ground floor, we come to a passageway that runs along the side of the downstairs living room and to the kitchen ahead. It would make sense to remove this passageway to create an open plan kitchen, dining and living room space and to enjoy the sunshine that comes in the windows along this side of the house. There is a utility room leading off from the living room which could perhaps be converted into a second bathroom or wc.

The kitchen, while outdated, has a homey feel, views and natural light. There are two built-in pantry spaces which could be opened up to give more space. A door gives access out to a partially covered patio, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. There are various storage areas in the back part of the patio area which could be removed, thus extending the patio space a fair amount. On this floor there is also a narrow terrace running along the length of the house, accessed from the patio.

While the street supposedly has car access, it is extremely narrow at one point and so it would either be necessary to have an incredibly small car or motorbike. All amenties are close by and the sweet town house is located in a quiet area that would make it suitable for a family.
