ABOUT US

Albayzin Properties was founded in 2005 and is dedicated to selling town houses in the historic barrio of the Albayzin in Granada, which overlooks the Alhambra, Spain’s most visited monument.

We have an office in the barrio itself and, as part of the Another Way Of Life group we have an office in Cádiar plus associates in Sevilla, Aracena, Álora and Órgiva.

Allan Hilder is the director of Albayzin Properties. He lives with his wife and daughter (when she is not at Sussex University) in the Albayzin district of Granada where he moved to in 2001. Allan is a Certified Chartered Accountant and holds both a Masters and a First Class Honours Degree in Spanish and French from Kent University. Having bought and renovated several properties, both in the Albayzin and in the countryside, Allan is well placed to advise not only on purchasing properties but on how to go about renovating them, both from the legal as well as practical point of view. The responsibility for running for running the Albayzin office rests with Danielle Woolley. A South African native, Dani has lived in Granada for 6 years, following a two year stint in Vietnam. She holds a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Granada and is very much a people person. To our vendors, we promise to maximise exposure of their property, not only passively via our websites and international property portals but also actively through direct, and precisely targeted, email marketing backed by a sophisticated customer relations management system. We will highlight all the advantages of their property and will do our utmost to sell it at the best possible price.

To our buyers, we promise to listen carefully to their needs and recommend properties that are likely to suit them even though this may not be immediately apparent to the client. We will not engage in estate agent’s tricks such as showing you unsuitable properties just to make it appear to the seller that we are active on their behalf and to take up your time. Our time, like yours, is precious and we will not waste it.
After the purchase is finalised we are available to help buyers in whatever way they need without time limit.
